Hi dog lovers. My name is Ben. I am a super sweet, extremely likable 2 yr old 37 lb mixed breed pup. I was found near death on a college campus in Taiwan. I was so weak from living on the streets that I couldn’t even lift my head when the shelter staff came to rescue. But that didn’t stop me from wagging my tail
I have fit nicely into my foster home. I love my walks and I’m great on the leash. I never have any accidents in the house and I know my basic commands. I do like to chew on socks or towels occasionally, so it’s a good idea to have lots of chewing options around the house like doggy toys, ropes or bones. I love to play tug-of-war, soccer and fetch!
When it comes to people I just can’t help myself. I love everything about you furless two-legged creatures. That is, of course, once I get to know you. I am a bit wary of strangers. I should probably be in a very active adult only, dog savvy home. I do tend to bond best with one person and would love to be with someone who is calm and assertive that can help me learn how to be the best dog I can be. (I don’t do well with the loud “angry” stern types!) I am a very smart boy and eager to learn. (Especially if you motivate me with treats!) My adoption fee is $350.
